for the innovative LINQ-Boat CQ-6.«
„Passion makes the Difference" is living reality for tel-inform. Comparable enthusiasm can only be found in sports. This is why tel-inform will be taking part in sailing regattas in Germany and the Netherlands with its own boat „team tel-inform"starting 2009. The boat, the first sport boat in the world under 9 meters built in series with a pivoting keel, is as innovative as tel-inform itself.
This is the first time in ocean regatta sports (Volvo Ocean-Race) that the technique of a keel which pivots to windward has been transferred to a boat of this length built in series. Therefore the LINQ CQ-6 can carry a considerably larger set of sails than comparable sport boats in order to achieve extraordinary speeds. The method of sailing is also more upright and stable than with comparable boats.
„team tel-inform" is the construction number 1 of the young dutch
boatyard. LinQ Boats. The company founder Jurian Rademaker was one of the builders of the dutch Volvo-Ocean-Racer „ABN Amro 1“, which won the Volvo Ocean Race around the world in 2005 – 2006. Rademaker sarted his own amll boatyard in 2008. His LINq-cq-6 won considerable attention as the innovation of 2009 at the „Boot” exhibition in Düsseldorf. Immediately following the exhibition, Rademaker began to construct the boat in series.
Initially, tel-inform would like to use its involvement to provide start up assistance to young business innovators and to help with the breakthrough of a revolutionary idea. In addition, the tel-inform team wishes to carry the passion and the sporting spirit of our firm into the public eye in many regattas over the coming years.
